I ideated on the following 3 detailed scenarios, weaving the interactions between smart devices, cat, user and the XR application. With the Shapes prototype I'm displaying only the first scenario.
Scenarios
Scenario 1: Morning Routine
After waking up, user selects morning routine for the pet cat- Smart TV greets with a morning msg with temp & to-do
- Morning Routine
- Automatic feeder dispenses breakfast for cat
- Thermostat sets the temperature to 22 degrees
- User starts the Robo Vac to clean up, cat starts to follow it
- Cat heads to litter bot area, but it needs cleaning. User remotely cleans, cat then uses it
- Playtime with WickedMouse Routine -
- Owner initiates this routine to start the Wicked Mouse
- KittyCam captures a bunch of adorable moments
Scenario 2: Remote Monitor
In Afternoon user is away at work- Remote CheckIn - User wants to check on the cat. They turn on the Kitty Cam to see what the cat is upto
- Cat is out of range of Kitty Cam so user switches to Smart Collar - to find see that the cat is out of home
- To know exactly where the cat is, user opens up the GPS feature
- Remote Play - User activates the Wicked Mouse remotely from their workplace, and watches the cat’s reaction through KittyCam
Scenario 3: Evening Relaxation
Owner returns home after work- Air Purifier adjustment - finds an alert that the air quality isa bit low - orders a new set of filters
- Feeding Dinner - Owner uses the auto feeder to serve dinner and schedules the next meal
- Thermostat Control - User adjusts the temperature to be a lil warm
- Evening Playtime - Owner engages with the cat using Wicked Mouse
